KILIM ENDS REPAIR

This lovely Kilim had fraying ends, stitch holding the rug together was broken and the rug became loose. This was due to our client's washing process, unfortunately she was ill advised about washing Kilims, she washed them in a laundry few times causing damage to this nice rug. We initially agreed on removing from both ends about couple of inches to re-stitch it with double stitch persian chain stitch to secure but because the rug was lovely, we decided to repair it rather than removing some of the design. Our client was very happy with the results. www.rugart.biz
